CALIFORNIA SMALL BUSINESS ASSOCIATION ENDORSES CHERYL BROWN FOR RE-ELECTION

SAN BERNARDINO, CA (February 11, 2016) - Assembly Member Cheryl R. Brown (D-San Bernardino) today announced an endorsement from the California Small Business Association, a volunteer-driven, nonprofit, non-partisan organization that makes its mission to provide small business with a meaningful voice in state and federal governments. Its membership consists of over 203,000 small business owners throughout the state.

"Assembly Member Cheryl Brown is focused on job creation and economic prosperity in the Inland Empire," said Betty Jo Toccoli, President of the California Small Business Association. "Cheryl Brown understands the importance of small businesses for local economies. She has experience and an understanding of how to make California more business friendly. The California Small Business Association is pleased to announce its endorsement for Assembly Member Cheryl Brown in her re-election to the 47th Assembly District."

As a small business owner for over 30 years, Assembly Member Brown understands the importance of small businesses. She is a member of the California State Assembly Committee on Jobs, Economic Development, and the Economy, and also Chairs the Select Committee on Small Business in the Inland Empire. As our assemblywoman, Cheryl Brown has helped create policies that increase private investments in California, increase trade with our nation’s allies, and help local entrepreneurs start new small businesses, in addition to expanding existing ones.

Assembly Member Cheryl R. Brown is running for re-election in California’s 47th district. The 47th Assembly District is located in the heart of San Bernardino County and includes Colton, Fontana, Grand Terrace, Rialto, San Bernardino, and the unincorporated communities of Bloomington and Muscoy. She currently represents the 47th district.
