STATE SUPERINTENDENT TOM TORLAKSON ENDORSES CHERYL BROWN FOR RE-ELECTION
SAN BERNARDINO, CA (March 30, 2016) - Today, Assemblywoman Cheryl Brown (D-San Bernardino) received a major endorsement from California's highest ranking education leader, State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tom Torlakson.
"As an Assemblywoman, Cheryl Brown has demonstrated a strong legislative record of investing in California's public education system," said State Superintendent Tom Torlakson. "Cheryl Brown's work has helped improve academic standards in our public schools, put more students on the path to college, and ensured every child has the opportunity to attain a quality education that prepares them for good-paying jobs. I am proud to endorse Assemblywoman Cheryl Brown's re-election for California's 47th Assembly District."

Assemblywoman Cheryl R. Brown is the officially endorsed Democratic candidate of the California Democratic Party running for re-election in California’s 47th district. The 47th Assembly District is located in the heart of San Bernardino County and includes Colton, Fontana, Grand Terrace, Rialto, San Bernardino, and the unincorporated communities of Bloomington and Muscoy. She currently represents the 47th district.
